These are the rules for using Somonos. We've written them in plain English because we think you should actually be able to read the terms you're agreeing to. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Somonos is a creative workspace for musicians in the pre-production phase. You can write lyrics, record voice memos, organize projects, build moodboards, and sketch out ideas — all in one place. We offer the service as-is and work to keep it running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that every feature will work perfectly at all times.
You need an account to use Somonos. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If someone accesses your account because your password was compromised, that's on you — though we'll help you recover it if we can.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Somonos. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
Everything you create in Somonos — lyrics, voice memos, songs, projects, moodboards, images — belongs to you. We don't own any of it.
By using Somonos, you give us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We won't use your content for anything else. We won't sell it, license it, or share it with third parties — except as described in our Privacy Policy (specifically, the AI processing features you choose to use).
You're responsible for having the rights to the content you upload. Don't upload content that belongs to someone else without their permission.
✕ Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit the service
✕ Use automated tools to scrape or overload the system
✕ Upload malicious content (malware, phishing, etc.)
✕ Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
✕ Use the service for anything illegal
You can request account deletion by contacting support. We handle account deletion through support so destructive account removal can be verified before your data is permanently removed.
We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms — for example, attempting to hack the system or abusing the service. We'll try to give you notice first, but in serious cases (like security threats), we may act immediately.
Some features use Google's Gemini API to process your content — specifically, auto-titling voice memos and scanning handwritten lyrics. These features are always triggered by you, never automatic. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data flows through these features.
We work to keep Somonos available and reliable, but things break sometimes. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may also update features, change the interface, or modify functionality as the app evolves. We'll try to communicate significant changes, but we reserve the right to update the service without prior notice.
Somonos is currently free. We plan to introduce paid tiers in the future. When we do, we'll update these terms with pricing, billing, and refund details before charging anyone. You'll never be charged without clear notice and your explicit consent.
